Spring '26 On Film

Spring '26 On Film

We recently got a roll of film developed from Ash (my wife's) camera - a little snapshot of what life’s looked like around here over the last few weeks.

Between a work trip over to Sydney, stunning spring weather back in Tauranga, and a school holiday road trip down to Taranaki with the kids (visiting family and dropping in on some of our favourite local stockists along the way), Ash somehow managed to juggle work, family, and capture it on film.

Here’s a candid look into what's been going on both in and out of work lately.

A classic view of the Harbour Bridge while Ash was over in Sydney for work.

Back home and straight into the school holidays—making the most of the spring sunshine out at the Mount.

A self-timer moment with Ash and Harrison - definitely getting this one printed and framed!

Harrison takes his tea delivery duties very seriously down at Special Mention in Arataki, Tauranga.

Catching up with owner and all-round good guy Lex (right) inside Special Mention.

Next up, a road trip down to New Plymouth with the kids in tow. Refuelling at Buttermilk, run by the talented crew behind NP's favourite Bleached café.

Fresh Webster's brewing at Buttermilk.

A rare hand-hold between Harrison and Penny - best mates... when they’re not at each other!

Dawn’s gorgeous converted church out in Ōakura; a huge thanks Rosie and the team for looking after Ash and the kids.

Our tea paired with classic Crown Lynn ceramics at Dawn.

Putting a scrap piece of shop renovation MDF to good use with some backyard painting to round out the holidays and film.
