I started drinking Lapsang Souchong 45 years ago, and it's easily my favourite black tea. This one is on the subtle side for a Lapsang, so it should probably suit most people who need some smokyness in their life but not too much. It also gives more room for the actual tea flavours, which are great. A 5 minute steep is perfect with Wellington water. :-)

Lapsang tea is a really moreish tea, quite refreshing and I love the smell and taste when I drink it.
My daughter loves Websters Lapsang tea and thinks it is divine too.

I have tried other Lapsang Souchung teas and do like them but this one has the perfect amount of smokiness. The other teas used in this blend are easily detectable in the background and make for an absolutely delightful cup of tea.
